The latest news of the outcome between Ms. Dawn vs. Xia Xue has escalated to the point where a 3rd party has now intervened in the issue. The said person being Ms. Dawn's very own manager, who may have in his part warned Ms. Dawn against taking her own actions to flame Xia Xue back online. Instead, the manager... a Mr. Noel has decided that a much severe action should be taken - issuing a lawsuit against Xia Xue for defamation.

Whilst readers might not have been aware of the on-going issues behind the background, Xia Xue took off her post and apologize, successfully pulling off a Karpal Singh '5 second' retractment of words. Beautifully and allocatedly done, it has only made her fanbase grew stronger as readers such as myself can see her standing up to her opinions.

On the other hand, Mr. Noel made the biggest mistake of his life by posting a comment back in Xia Xue's blog. By calling her childish and chidding her for the ways she has chosen to speak out, he has inadvertedly admit that he was the instigator of the removal of the posting and has instead become now, the target of abuse for this article. As many readers have commented, his post on her blog serves to fuel more passionate hatred towards his client and will only harm Ms. Dawn's popularity severely.

Ms. Dawn should have come right out and deny accusations that have been made by Xia Xue publicly instead of relying on Mr. Noel. Truth be told, I believe many of Xia Xue's points are not exaggerated and are in fact, the truth. Recall readers, that Ms. Dawn has posted countless of times pictures of herself... and her family... and how she apparently looked in the past. Not many can actually turn themselves into a pale looking ghost after they've been so tanned for almost 3/4 of their life. How she looked then and now, are completely different. As people grow up, there's still some remarkable resemblance that they keep from when they were but a teenager. Ms. Dawn's pictures... do her much unjustice in that area.

Another argument I would have argued, would be be her resemblence to the rest of her family and why they aren't 'white' as well... However, I shall not bridged further into it as it would be hurtful and spiteful towards her family. Instead, I shall re-direct my attention back to Mr. Noel.

SO, Mr. Noel... if you had the time to google up gossips and blog entries about your client.. I would like you to remember that the integrity of your client is at stake. If you had any sense whatsoever, you would recall that any matters between your client and the accused should be kept private and confidential. If I ever want a lawyer, it would surely never be you since I could never afford to have personal information even if it's minor... leaked out.

I haven't had a serious piece of news to write about except for me leaving to Australia... hardy har har. As I'd been busy with preperations to leave, reading blogs like our ex-PM Dr. Mathahir would have drowned me. So I decided to settle down instead to reading random gossip news by famous celebrities such as Xia Xue, Pink Pau and Cheesie. So imagine my biggest shock just a few minutes ago, when I checked out Xia Xue's page and saw....

XIAXUE VS DAWN YANG: ALL OUT ATTACK

It was theatrical and would probably be listed under the top ten Blogger Lashouts if Dawn Yang ever chooses to retaliate back. However, as much as I've read on Ms. Dawn's blog, I'm actually quite assured all the lashing out would be as harmless as a fly buzzing around your ear. I have nothing too personal against Ms. Dawn. I just find it ashame that all my favourite bloggers happened to be compared to her.

A few years back.. a personal friend of mine opened a blog to write about her life (under my instigation, ... a little) and her artistic inspirations of the day. Few months down the line, she was well known in the blogging media and it wasn't long before she was compared to Dawn Yang. I remembered that she mentioned it once and couldn't understand why there was even a comparison being made between the two. Following her blog closely, I decided to google Ms. Dawn and find her blog....

Only to discover horrifyingly that it consisted full of .... CAMWHORING expeditions. There wasn't anything I could connect.. nor was there anything artistic about it. I felt utterly shocked and pissed about the whole event. Whoever in their brilliant mind decided to compare the two must have been looking from the exterior... because all I saw was a camwhoring, totally white (please try comparing yourself to the Wayne brothers in Hot Chicks) girl who was very much like those SPGs.

Now, just recently Xia Xue has been compared to her??? That's so outrageous that I'm actually laughing my toes off.

Xia Xue maybe a bit bitchy, egoistically vain and downright rude... but she expresses who she is and is not ashame to admit she's wrong. Plus, she's an excellant writer who writes about everything that interests her and is not just narrowed down to her own selfish expeditions alone.

Then we have Ms. Dawn Yang. Dawn is tall, pretty... and is that all? I see a beautiful packaging that has no substance within. I'm not saying she doesn't at all... I mean, if you want to be someone who is able to use it all... why not be like Paris Hilton, who does it all!!!! I am rather ashame to continue reading or even dare touch anymore of Dawn's entries written in her blog as I cannot feel anything towards it. It doesn't make me yearn to read it as much as I want to read Xia Xue's blog.

However, seeing as which Xia Xue literally stood up for herself... there really isn't a need for me to go on further about it. I'm just more interested in the outcome considering that we're talking about a full recon retaliation between two famous Singaporean bloggers. Xia Xue and Dawn Yang. May the best female blogger win ... though with more sense than sampler cutesy lines please. lol.

[01/07/08] p.s. Do check out Ms. Dawn's latest posting on her blog for her lash out... which failed utterly. It falls flat, and if there was any argument at all... it never sent the message across. She could have come up with a better excuse then that.

Is it possible to even imagine reality tv taking over our lives slowly bit by bit?

Call me slow but I've only just recently had the opportunity to watch The Truman Show though this was due to an impending assignment and presentation which I needed to hand up the following day.

The topic was to critique this satirical movie which is based upon the assumption on the question, "What if reality TV or TV has become apart of our lives that we fail to realize we might even be apart of that reality itself?"

The question in it's purest form is rather philosophical as it question us on our existence and the meaning of existing in this etheral world.

Ignoring the jargonic terms I've just mentioned above, I'd like to say a few words of my opinions in Engrish. So, please bare with all grammatical spelling errors that you may find below as they reflect the Malaysian culture, one of which I was born in. (and I'm proud of my Engrish... errr, oops! I meant Manglish!)

Eh look carefully!!!! How many of us have had the priviledge to look at other people's lives, huh??? Everyday, we live our lives being compared by the neighbours la, our friends la... even strangers on the street who don't know us also boleh compare us with every tom dicky and harry they apparently know.

Nobody's lives are ever not spared la. The truth of the matter is, no matter how much we yearn to hide ourselves from REALITY TV, we do partake in being sadist bastards watching others make a monkey outta themselves on TV. We can even afford to laugh because, meah... it's not us, heh???

And who exactly is in the right mindset to like be apart of reality tv, huh??? Only those who bo liuo/moh chien/moola will stooppppp that low to do it!!!! Apa la ni!!!!! I mean seriously, wake up and smell the coffee!!!! You embaress yourselves on TV and it's a happy thing??? And GOD aka producer has the right to what!? make you do it just because he controls the show, eh????

Why do we even bother to stoop that low like a dog, huh???? Ishk Ishk... and you would think people had some sense to stop themselves from acting in such an imbecile-like manner.

I don't want my life on TV for public to view. Damn shameful la wei... I mean, it's like Ugly Betty and worst. You really think I'd be happy to see my face on TV in such a hideous state, ar? Plus imagine la... People only know you as a reality tv character, not your true self. ISN'T THAT FAKE???

I say, people ought to boycott reality tv shows that mocks our society. I especially detest those wierd joke-like shows that serves to tease audiences or FEAR FACTOR which is grotesque or BIG BROTHER, which is UTTERLY STUPID AND DEMORALIZING!

http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/83234

Islamic group condemns 'sexy' school uniforms
May 21, 08 5:35pm

An Islamic group today condemned the uniform worn by girls at
government schools, saying it encouraged rape and pre-marital sex.

"The white blouse is too transparent for girls and it becomes a source
of attraction," National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia vice-
president Munirah Bahari said in a statement.

"It becomes a distraction to men, who are drawn to it, whether or not
they like looking at it," she said, calling for a review of uniform
policy so that it did not violate Islamic ideals.

In multicultural Malaysia, home to majority-Muslim Malays as well as
ethnic Chinese and Indians, female students at government schools have
a choice of wearing a white blouse with a knee-length skirt or
pinafore.

budak sekolah seragam baju 210508They may also wear a baju kurung
which is a traditional long top and skirt, and a headscarf is optional
for Malay students.

Munirah said that "covering up" according to Islamic precepts was
important to fend off social ills including "rape, sexual harassment
and even premarital sex which involve schoolgirls in their teens."

"All this leads to babies born out of wedlock and to an extent, even
prostitution," she said.

"Decent clothes which are not revealing can prevent and protect women
from any untoward situations," she said, suggesting that girls wear a
blouse of a different colour or with an undergarment.

However, the girls themselves also came in for criticism, with the
association saying some used the white blouse to lure men.

"This is the source of the problem, where we can see that schoolgirls
themselves are capable of using this to attract men to them," Munirah
said.

"This could see them getting molested, having pre-marital sex and all
sorts of things."

-AFP
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS???

No, seriously. How low has Malaysia sunk down to criticize it's own nation of the very rules that has been set for and implemented ages ago? What took them that long to realize that our pinafore blouses were 'see-through'?

Let's face the facts. I'm a female, so I can very well say that those white blouses shouldn't even be blamed at all. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERY STUDENT who wears them to uphold their own moral values. Why put the blame on the clothes?

As a student once, I'd worn both the pinafore and baju kurung before. When you wear the pinafore, nobody ever tells you that you can't wear brightly colored or ultra dark colored bras with it. Even when you wear the baju kurung, nobody reminds me you that you have to wear a single with it. It is the responsibility of the students themselves to like DO IT!!!!???

But oh, let's blame it on the parents who encourage their kids to buy those colored lacey, seductive bras and while we're at that, how about the kids who choose to be seductive? I mean, I've seen quite a bit who has button down their blouses (did that before, but it was on a dare and I played smart, LIKE HOW EVERYONE SHOULD! x3) and then there's those who purposely get super short length skirt pinafores that shows off a bit more meat in their legs. Shall we like paint the clothes black and ask kids to go about school everyday with such ghastly colors???

The obvious answer is NONSENSE.

You let the kids grow up, and learn that what they're doing is wrong. I mean why blame the kids when society encourages them to be like that. You wanna start pointing fingers then, shouldn't it be pointed at the society and shouldn't we encourage the society to protest against 'colored bras' and 'short pinafore skirts' to resume the high morality that the modern kids no longer have in them.

I'd like to add a few commentaries after that.

Men are horny... as in general. Blind them and they'd never cause problems to women. So, you already have the main issue dealt with in your problem OR implement back the all-girls school and keep the women away from the men, depriving them helps build up the intensity and tension!

PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES. The white blouse does not make men want to rape or have pre-marital sex with the women. It's either fetish on their part or consensual with the girl before they have it done. White is as distracting as Black and even if we play safe, who would ever want to wear dull horrid Black to school.

I'm being biased and prejudice on my part here when I comment that the VP who commented in the article, probably either had a bad experience with men or wasn't able to seduce men with the white blouses. Seriously la, who would ever condemn white blouses this terribly??? Hiah~~~~
